AubrysTech uses AI in specific, clearly labeled features to assist writers with their publishing workflow. This policy explains what those features are, what AI does and doesn't do, and how your data is handled.
1. What Uses AI
AubrysTech uses AI in the following features:
- Manuscript Blurb & Logline Generator — generates marketing copy from your manuscript details
- Virtual Publicist Pro — generates press releases, pitch angles, and campaign ideas
- Fantasy Map Generator — generates and edits illustrated world maps from text prompts
- Submission Intelligence — analyzes query patterns and provides strategic recommendations
2. What AI Does Not Do
- AI does not access your private submissions, deals, or personal data unless you explicitly provide that information within an AI feature.
- AI does not read your manuscript files — only the details you enter into form fields.
- AI does not make decisions on your behalf — all outputs are suggestions for you to evaluate and use as you see fit.
3. Your Data and AI
We do not use your content to train AI models. Data you enter into AI-powered features is passed to OpenAI's API to generate a response and is not stored for training purposes. OpenAI operates under strict data handling policies and does not use API inputs to train its models by default.
4. AI Output Responsibility
AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or not suitable for your specific needs. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying any AI output before use. Do not submit AI-generated query letters or synopses as if they were your own original work without substantial revision.
5. Opt-In Philosophy
AI features are clearly labeled and require deliberate interaction. You will never be surprised by AI-generated content in core tracking features. Your query log, agent database, and submission history are entirely human-managed.
